Through the WorkSmart Ecosystem
Students benefit from career readiness experiences through the WorkSmart system when schools and districts adopt the program. Through this system, students engage in career exploration activities, portfolio development, and professional presentation experiences as part of their learning.
The WorkSmart Foundation (501(c)(3)) supports student-centered experiences connected to this system by helping facilitate Career Showcase events, community involvement, and student recognition when resources allow.

These experiences are designed to help students build confidence and become more comfortable talking about their goals and interests.

Supported by the WorkSmart Foundation, the student exhibition experience includes a competitive recognition component, and students may be selected to advance beyond the school level. Through donations and community partnerships, students are supported through recognition, including awards, scholarships, internships, job opportunities, industry-recognized credentials, and career kits.

Community involvement is an important part of the WorkSmart student experience.
Through the WorkSmart Foundation, community members, business professionals, and educators may participate as listeners, judges, or mentors during Showcase and Career Club activities.
These interactions give students opportunities to practice professional communication and engage in meaningful career conversations.
