Step 1. Email
When a new schedule is done, the employee will receive an email for each job he/she is scheduled for. They will have a copy of this in their inbox as well as if they have data on their smartphone they will receive it there.
If a job is changed for some reason the employee will receive an email updating his/her schedule. Email is used in our basic package if you choose not to add the texting feature.
Step 2. Text Messages
If you choose the texting feature and input the employees’ smartphone number in their profile, the employee will receive a text for each job he/she is scheduled for.
If a job is changed for some reason the employee will receive a text updating his/her schedule. You can only use text if you purchase the texting feature when you sign-up or upgrade your account.
